Overview:
Rebranding and redesigning the digital presence for Halo to better communicate their creative + technical positioning while making case studies scalable.
PROBLEM
Halo’s existing website relied on a dated visual style and lacked a cohesive brand identity. The site also made it difficult to publish new case studies, which limited the agency’s ability to showcase its work and attract new clients.
Design Approach
The goal was to create a visual identity that balanced professionalism with creative energy — what the team described as “business in the front, party in the back.”
I refined the existing logo while introducing a modern color palette built around gradients that added motion and personality to the brand.
Brand Evolution
I developed several complementary visual styles including:
• sketch-inspired illustrations
• gradient-based elements
• editorial photography
A flowing gradient element was introduced across the site to guide users by subtly directing attention to calls-to-action.
Visual Language
To better support business development goals, I simplified the site navigation and focused on highlighting Halo’s work.
A dynamic work module on the homepage allows projects to be sorted by industry, helping prospective clients quickly find relevant case studies.
UX Strategy
Scalable Case Study Framework
Historically, case studies required heavy development, which slowed production. I designed a modular storytelling structure that allows each case study to feel custom while using repeatable sections behind the scenes.
This made it possible for the team to continuously publish new work without large development efforts.
